Enough is enough. We can't conserve our way out of the oil crisis. We can't "hybrid drive" our way out of the oil crisis and we sure as hell can't windmill our way out of this oil crisis. DRILL FOR SOME FREAKIN' OIL!
Yes, a combination of conservation, alternative fuel, innovation, etc will make a difference in the long run, but imagine if we added additional domestic oil supplies in the mix. We could tell the middle east to kiss our $%&. But, we have to start drilling TODAY. Alaska, South Dakota, Colorado, Offshore to our fuel tanks will take at least 10 years.
